Pros
I recommend you buy two of them, as it works best if the mesh dries before you try to extract the lime that has built up. I hope to report in a few months time that it is actually keeping my kettle a little less covered in mineral deposits.
Great product, works like a charm. Works by providing more surface area for the scale to settle on.
Product rinses out easily and doesn't make any noise when kettle is boiling. Just wash every week. Seven years later and my kettle is as clean as the day i bought it. All you have to do is give it a rinse as needed and it goes back in the kettle.
Cons
Result kettle full of lime deposits. All it is is a tiny piece of steel wool. I am an engineer, familiar with experimental plans, and this one is a bust.
