It has a lot of --real-- moisture in it, which plumps up the hair and tames frizz without coating the hair (with oil) and weighing it down.

The scent is very subtle (not noticeable once rinsed out), but the detangling lasts.

No noticeable difference in my hair, either, although i've never noticed much difference anytime i've changed products.
