Pros

This is our second purchase of the fantastic item because our first one disappeared and we couldn't live without it. Great gift idea for the boat nerd in your family.

No more pyrex to wash. It cleans easily. You have to be careful pulling it off or it can burn. Best to pull it sideways to the opposite side vents then pick it up.

This lid is great to reheat foods in the microwave. This steaming lid keeps my reheated food moist and my microwave clean. This works perfectly to steam veggies in the microwave.

Cons

It is too flimsy to keep the pressure from pushing the sides up and causing this to happen.
