Gingerdead men cookie cutters are adorable and so fun to use, especially with kiddos. Perfect for halloween or dia de los muertos. The cookies are a little larger than most of my gingerbread men.
Cons
The biggest issue is the next isn’t wide enough. The indentations of the skeleton are too shallow. I have had to re-stamp when they are fresh out of the oven to get the bone imprints.

I used the gingerbread cookie recipe that came with the cutter, i found it to be very tasty and firm enough after being baked.
I am very pleased with it and i think with time i will get better at using it.
Simply designed, cut the cookie out with one side, stamp the design into it with the other side.

And thinner cookies come out better so really roll out the dough.
The other side presses into the cookie dough tfor an imprint for the frosting.
As others recommended, i poked a couple holes in the cutter before cutting out the gingerbread men.

The only reason i deducted one star is because the cookies come out so large that the head barely makes it over to the cooling rack without snapping off in the transfer

I separated the dough into 2 batches after chilling then rolled it out between parchment paper

As far as icing the cookies it took a few failed attempts to get it right

As you can see mine turned out looking pretty close to the picture on the box

I found this cutter to be difficult to use the impression of the skeleton is on the back of the cutter and has to be lined up perfectly and then pressed in with more force than expected to come out ok
