Pros & Cons
Pros
These shorts are actually fantastic despite one flaw. The 12 inseam is perfect for my height as well. For the leg length, mine is 10 and sits just about at the knee.
The front cargo pocket are zippered for complete security. I’d prefer that the zipper had fabric overlap over the zipper, so that they could be concealed by tucking within the overlap.
The material is exactly what i wanted; light weight, breathable and tough. It keeps me dry and prevents overheating. No problem at beach or on the street, but distracting on a quiet trail or museum.
These are also a slightly better looking cut to, so they don't billow out and leave you swimming in baggy short legs. I have sensitive skin and the material does not irritate my skin after a day of rubbing.
Well crafted. Look great. No need to iron. The included belt feature is a real bonus.
Cons
The belt loop is a continuous tunnel around the waist that only opens in the front so you can latch the belt. The loop is far too thin for any other belt since it is so skinny for the skinny web belt you get with it. The belt is a bit of a hassle - yo... Read More
The shorts are lightweight and flexible and probably good for a moderate temperate climate, but not as breathable in a warmer (80+ and humid) environment as you would be led to believe. The 10 inseam on this short is just a bit to long - it has a tend... Read More
Highlights
Quality
The stitching seems good and the zippers are quality as well.

These are not traditional baggy “cargo shorts” with the bulging side pouches so you might be able to wear them to your private ... Read More
Price
These are nice shorts at a great price.
To buy a decent belt you are looking at $20, so factor that into the cost of these shorts.
Shipping
They got wet, and dried quickly, and were comfortable the entire time.
Just returned from a 2 week trip and wore one of my free soldier men's cargo shorts every day.
Packaging/appearance
Nice packaging, they even come in a clear and cloth zippered bag.
Competitiveness
I ordered several different brands of nylon shorts hoping to find the perfect ones and while this was the first pair i received... Read More

I guess that’s not bad because they will wear well but the are hotter and don’t feel as supple as i like then because they do feel like nylon instead of more like light weight cotton

Cargo pockets blend in nicely not puffy and pants while heavy duty dont necessarily look so

While i wasnt really looking for 34stretchy34 nylon as i previously had a pair that after a year of use started to look ratty with white spandex threads poking through the nylon and looking weird and even somewhat lose these pants didnt seem to stretch as much and hopefully will hold up better than my other pants

Other reviewers complained about the belt being flimsy or easily broken i havent had it that long but while it doesnt seem like a super heavyduty belt it doesnt seem flimsy either

Cargo pockets are somewhat wide and while some may think this is a positive for maximum room i generally dont like that because i use one for carrying my cell phone and one for my wallet where i dont need them to be so wide

The problem with wide cargo pockets with a cell phone is it gives room for the cell phone to tip over to its side making the phone sit horizontal on the bottom of the pocket
