Pros
These fit great with an elastic waist band and stretchy material. I prefer them over colombia silver ridge pants but these are not ripstop. buy these pants.
They breath very well and this is further compounded by the beneficial convertibility. Very comfortable and water repellent. Only thing more breathable is gore-tex.
I believe it’s actually a cordura nylon outer layer and some sort of uber stretchy internal layer.
The size is accurate. Size is a little longer in length and wider on the waist.
Front fastener (button) is attached with a nylon strip.
Cons
These pants are shockingly hideous. The back pocket is to deep so your wallet hangs down to the back of you leg, right above your knee. Also very baggy.

However, when recently i needed to replace my old and worn out hiking pants, i checked and the cost was going to be over $80.
Packaging/appearance
The arrived in typical china packaging and i was nervous.
Only problem is that the belt fell apart in the wash.
Competitiveness
Better than my brand name / big store convertible pants at half the price.
They’re thinner than ll bean or north face but also a third of the price.

Consconvertible section you zip off doesnt unzip on the side so you have to take your boots off to go from jeans to shorts or vice versa
