Pros
They fit perfectly according to my regular jean size. They seem to be a little thicker material. They also look presentable enough for everyday-wear if you are in a pinch.
Pants fit well, i like the fastener, not sure about the belt. Good quality but not very breathable. True-to-size with a semi-stretchy waist.
The zipper closures on the cargo pockets are also superior to the standard velcro closures you find on most cargo pants. The belt works well so far, though the belt loops are a bit inconvenient.
I work in underground trenches everyday in dirt, rock, sand and mud and these are fabulous. Once the rain really comes down and covers them they will eventually soak through.
Cons
The pants are not labled in length only waist. The slippery nylon fabric also means that the pants will ride down if there is any weight in the pockets. The zipper on the fly has a tendency to travel down throughout the day.
The release is so soft, that when you bend over, crouch etc. Rather inconvenient. Most important flaw is the belt loops.

I’ve worn every pair of pants that are supposedly cool , flexible and durable ever made and these are the best by far.
Nothing compares to how cool these are and they are extremely durable.
If they get wet they dry within minutes and when you need to kneel , bend , climb or slide in and out of trenches there is zero constraint.
Price
Anyway, these seem like a good value for the price and are comfortable.
These pants gave me everything i wanted at a good price.
Competitiveness
It doesn’t matter they are $39 because the other brands could be $10 bucks or $200 and this is what i’m wearing no matter what.
I have a pair of columbia nylon pants and these are similar for a much lower price.

They were comfortable enough in temps as low as 40f havent had a chance to go lower and as high as 80f

In retrospect i would have bought pants that i can use my own nylon belts see my review of a 2pack of metalfree nylon belts earlieir

The belt is metal free its just harder to adjust for instance if weve had a bit too much pasta on the fly

They do not zip off at the knee to make shorts i dont personally particularly care for that anyway as the zippers can be problematic
