Pros
They breath very well and this is further compounded by the beneficial convertibility. Only thing more breathable is gore-tex. Belt is thin but serviceable.
Fit just like my good ole wrangler jeans. Fit is prefect and i love the ability to remove the lower leg sleave. Ok, these feel like great lightweight hiking pants, although i haven't hiked in them yet.

These pants are shockingly hideous. Also very baggy. These are seriously unworthy pants.
The fabric is supposed to be quick drying and breathable. It is not. It feels more plastic like (it is plastic) rather than a cloth blend.

My husband loves the fit and feels they are a quality product
I pretty much hate all the hiking pants available these days because the fabric is so awful flimsy from everybody.

These pants aren’t bad for the price.
However, when recently i needed to replace my old and worn out hiking pants, i checked and the cost was going to be over $80.
Packaging/appearance
Being able to convert these pants to shorts also allowed me to pack less in my backpack.
I ordered 3 pairs and they arrived today, i reluctantly opened the packaging and tried them on.
The arrived in typical china packaging and i was nervous.
Competitiveness
Compare this to the columbia pants that i looked at and purchased at a retail store and i think the ones here are actually the better buy.
Better than my brand name / big store convertible pants at half the price.
The alternatives on amazon all have the goofy china sizing that never seems to translate to the actual fit.

Nice clasp decent belt slightly more robust than usual and the material a hair thicker than columbia but so far much more abrasion resistant
