Update walked in a creek with lots of sandgravel and while the mesh worked well particles still got into the shoe through the top

But most water shoes that offer the features i look for are typically double the price of these so overall not bad but not great

The gravel along the shoreline easily gets between your foot and sole if you wear sandals and if you dont have a shoe that is closed the same thing will happen and the reason that i did not consider the sandal style shoes with gaps in the straps
