Pros & Cons

Pros

The versatility is what sells me on it. It's also durable and versatile. Not an issue. Boggles the mind.

Very waterproof and very versatile. Sleeps one very comfortably, could fit two. Took this tarp on a weekend camping trip with friends to use for my hammock rig.

Great tarp - heavy construction / well made. Light weight nylon vs the heavy rubberized material of other tarps. This tarp is heavier than the ultralight backpacking tarps but it is light than most entry level tents.

It's sewn very well. The seams are edged and double sewn to aid in its strength. The reinforcemed seams are all completely in tact.

This tarp has a boatload of guyout tabs. It also comes with 4 metallic ground stakes notched at the top to help anchor the ropes to securely anchor the tarp.

Cons

The sewn on loop is about 3/4 wide and the ridge seal is about a 1/2 wide. One way to fix this is to have the ridge seam at least an inch or better yet an inch and a quarter wide. I have defects in the tarp fabric waterproofing that may allow water to...  Read More

Quality

Can’t beat the quality for the price.

I'm happy with the quality of this tarp.

The material did not melt, catch fire or sag with the use of my small wood burning camp stove.

The string comes in a single length and not quite like the product photo but thats probably for the better.

Price

Love this thing for it's simplicity, and the price is good as well.

Competitiveness

This looks to be very well built with reinforced corners with metal tie points and also grommeted holes.

Easy to stuff into a small daypack and deploy quickly.

You can even use it as a bivvy by itself.

But overall, a nice 10ft x 10ft tarp.

Kept the rain off my tent and hammock

They are too big to slide through the grommet like a traditional shepards hook stake would do

Though it was a really great deal for silnylon but upon ariving i discovered it was actually ripstop silpoly which is noticeably heavier

It does have some ripping by a few tie points

The weight is not as light as they advertised but you get what you paid for and i paid for a rugged tarp that can handle the bush for stealth camping

Maybe a couple drops of water that had traveled down from around the edge

Also setup your lines at home before going out i dropped one of the plastic pieces for the lines to lock it in on the ground and couldnt find it
