Pros & Cons
Pros
I’m always grateful anytime i hand just my car fob over, when maintenance is due. Impeccable and amazing amazing craftsmanship. I have all these guys products and they are often the center of soirées.
The double ring also lets the accessory twist better, so it’s usually a good idea to do that for tools. The total price is only a couple bucks more, but i’m getting 5 less flat rings.
You don't ever think about this keychain. It simply exists, and makes it effortless to swap keys around. As far as durability, it’s a good metal so it should last a long time.
The freekey is something that's waaay overdue for edc. It’s easy to use, but still holds everything securely.
The added little rings that each individual key has actually make my keys less bulky. They’re both oriented with the lock symbol facing me, so this shows the gap where you squeeze and how it’s changed over time.
Cons
The mechanism relies on a bend in the metal of one of the layers, so when you pinch it, it bends open. I'm sure i'll replace this soon because it is just unpleasant looking from the side and the bended metal layers make the thing look and feel unpleas... Read More
Highlights
Quality
The whole product feels sturdy while adding and removing keys and doesn't add bulk or weight to the mass of keys i carry around.
Very functional, great for grouping keys based on use and seems durable no indication of bending after use thus far.
Whenever i get new keys or keychain accessories, flat rings go on them immediately and they become part of the system too.
Oh, and for any other confused reviewers, it’s supposed to be gapped and shaped like this—the bend creates a fulcrum.
Price
Reasonably priced and super easy to use.
50 for only 5 add-on flat rings.
Overall i like it a lot, but the price on amazon is stupid.
Think i was paying about $4 at hd when they were sold there.

I’ve only run into a couple of issuesthe biggest is that the flat rings can be little fiddly to separate wide enough for things like car fobs and they’re a little too wide for applications like the lanyard hole of a pocket knife

They’ll usually barely fit but it’ll be too tight for the accessory to move freely
