Pros

Thermometer seems accurate. Not that it fluctuates a lot day-to-day, but more that i think i've got it set where i want it. The knob/dial is easy enough to use.

She at no point has been harmed by the heater nor damaged it. People saying it's melting during water you forgot to unplug it. I live in hawaii where it’s warm enough to not use a heater.

Temperature is accurate and consistent throughout the tank. I have it in a 20 gallon tank and it holds it at 80 degrees f with a wave maker running. Ordered this for my 5 gallon fish tank.

Cons

The temperature control on this heater is way too inaccurate. It is incapable of synchronizing with the temperature sensor. The temp fluctuates sometimes 10 degrees. No changes necessary, just wild temperature fluctuations.

At 100w that's way overpowered for this size tank. They say it is for up to five gallon tanks. In a small tank where tolerance is low, i feel this is not good.

I’m a relatively new aquarium owner (55 gallon), with the recent temperature drop outside, my tank also got colder.

Temp control seems to be on spot but i use a submersible glass thermometer as the digital one that comes with the heaters don't last long.

Price

Still for price i would buy it just for the heater.
