Pros

It initially heats the water up pretty quickly, within a few hours. Does a solid job with no temp swings. They keep the water at a balmy 45 f no matter how cold it gets outside. Temperature gauges let me check that they are all working at a glance.

Durable powerful. Works great and no complaints. One for a 2. They all work well. It holds well.

It's easy to hook on and doesn't come off.

Cons

The adjustment knob feels as if it will break. The foam packaging is cracked and the glass is broken at the tip/bottom of the heater. Waking up to find the tank hotter than you want is not a good feeling.

Returning this heater. Not good. Very disappointed. Don't trust the thermometer. This item is not to be trusted.

For those with aquariums that have to be within a small window of error, say a betta tank (78-80*f), this is a questionable buy.
