The heater is a glass tube with sturdy suction cups.
Heater works well when dialed in. The knob/dial is easy enough to use.
Cons
This product seems like cheep chinese junk. When i add this heater two minutes later it turn on. Then, slide the heater out of the foam packaging and found the glass broken at the tip/bottom of the heater.
At 100w that’s way overpowered for this size tank. They say it is for up to five gallon tanks.

I’m a relatively new aquarium owner (55 gallon), with the recent temperature drop outside, my tank also got colder.
Temp control seems to be on spot but i use a submersible glass thermometer as the digital one that comes with the heaters don't last long.
Price
Still for price i would buy it just for the heater.

Also the directions say to keep it submerged but i have two 6 gallon tanks and a 4 gallon it just seems very long to be always submerged
