Pros
It's easy to take apart and clean when junk gets in from the mucky water and bird seed. Filter is about 2 square inches, so it does need regular attention. I have it in about 110 gallon outdoor pond and it works great.
The cord is nice and long. Great suction and produces a nice fountain head. Inexpensive but effective.
Cons
Electric wiring is faulty and cheaply made. Parts diagram itself seems to be inaccurate. This thing is very inconsistent.

A few times while setting up the pond the water level dropped bacause of leaks and the pump shut off automatically.

There’s not really any instructions to it not that it’s really needed but after some failed tries to get it to work i went back on amazon and searched through the reviews and found that someone had dropped theirs and that’s what made it work
