These are great unless you spill on them. This defeats the purpose of having placemats in the first place. Like mold and moth balls.

Ive used some loose woven placemats before those somehow end up scratching my cloth or get snagged on things

They are easily rinsed off but dry quickly so they dont get a sour smell
