Pros

I like that it plugs into outlet rather than battery as some reviews of other products indicate batteries died during trips. Most importantly, my cats love it!

My cat likes to try to “catch” the water before drinking which effectively removes all dirt from his paws and adds them to the water.

This is the quietest fountain i have ever purchased. It is super quiet which is good for me yet entices my guys to drink. He loves this one because it is quiet, doesn't gurgle, etc.

Cons

When you need to refill the tank, water spills out everywhere. Water in the dish just spins and collects dust.

It gets slimy very quickly. It has to be washed in hot soapy water and bleach every few days. Over time it slows down even more as it catches small bits of debris.

The pump is weak and struggles to push water up the plenum through the sponge filter. If you are diligent about changing the filters this unit would be fine, but i forget until there is water everywhere.

This fountain is fantastic, it has a huge reservoir and lasts all week with our 7 cats, and they love the waterfall.

Cats love their new water dish, sometimes pump clogs with fur but easy clean.

About every 2-3 days i unplug it to give the motor a break.

It’s normally really quiet except after a few days of straight running and when it’s empty.

Price

I paid $70 for it at a pet store.

However, i just ordered one on amazon for under $30 so i thought why not.

I bought this because of the water storage tank and the low price.

Shipping

Shipped quickly and good price, considering i will use it for a few years.

Packaging/appearance

Keep in mind the tape i have to use to keep it in place have left marks since i used packing tape the first time.

Competitiveness

I like this 10x better than the popular bubbly or faucet style fountains.
