Pros

It absorbs and holds odor as well or better than any other litter i have tried. It does good at masking smell too actually! There's a slight scent, but it's not overpowering.

I use two becuse one liner gets clawed up when they dig and kick up. Scrape the scooper across the bottom to mix wet areas for absorption.

Fine silica granules make this litter less dusty. One of my cats has asthma, so i recommend a sieve for all crystal cat litter. I like this litter because i have had a male cat in the past that got crystals and i have 2 male cats right now so have alw... Read More

I have the sophresh rectangle extra large hooded litter boxes. My pic shows the two litters side by side in my litter pan.

Cons

This is the dustiest litter i have ever tried and fills the room with dust. It is extremely powdery. It’s also suppper dusty.

My whole house stinks. It smells like pure ammonia! Went back to scent free/dust free clumping fresh step.

Unfortunately, i took away one star because it is so expensive.

Amazon is by far the cheapest place to buy this litter.

Although this litter is more expensive, i only needed 1/2 of the bag to fill the box.

Some of the seller reviews weren't so good- i discovered after getting the message that amazon was sorry, but the product was delayed.

It smells amazing & is so much easier to scoop than other brands.

However the one reason i will buy the other brand is that these crystals are larger & sharp, somehow not comfortable on my cats feet.

If you're looking for an alternative for your petsafe litter robot and many others that use crystal style litter you can't beat this.
