Out of desperation i seasoned the finished dish with freshjax harissa seasoning, and it turned into an entirely different meal.

I always thought caraway was the secret sauce in harissa but this harissa blend does not contain caraway yet captures the same flavorful profile of traditional harissa

I make harissa and it requires toasting and grinding spices and blending jarred red peppers tomato paste and olive oil together quite the production

The best by date gives over three years of shelf life but once you start using this terrific spice blend it probably wont sit arround that long
