Pros & Cons
Pros
Just follow a good recipe, do not overfill them, and watch them to avoid burning. Only thing is, when you brush the with butter/beeswax mixture. This is perfect for twobite brownies or fatbombs. Easy to remove after baking and cleanup is simple.
This is an affordable freshware product, yet the product is durable and it definitely works. A good alternative to expensive cooper molds. The only issue is that the wells don't heat evenly.
Cons
This is way too flexible to use effectively, especially with the butter and wax coating required for proper canele. Get the metal ones.
Highlights
Quality
The molds arrived quickly and the quality is good.
Good price for good quality silicone molds.
I don't know if this is the pan so much or the quality of cannele that need that long bake for the caramelization.
I did not need to do the beeswax, just brushed butter on the molds before filling them with the batter.
Price
Could not ask for better and the price was great.
Packaging/appearance
No burning your caneles, comes out of the mold easily, easy to clean, safe in dishwasher (top).
Competitiveness
This is an affordable freshware product, yet the product is durable and it definitely works.
