I always put the mold on a cutting board before filling for transfer into the freezer and make sure to pop them out right away when frozen or cover them with a silicone top otherwise the freezer fan can dry out the top

Was only way my dog would drink water at the time was with huge ice cubes so it did work good for that didnt try soap bar making or anything else as of yet

Despite the hours involved during the makingbakingchilling process the worst part was always trying to divide them up and watching the beautiful top melted andes mint layer crack and shatter no matter how or at what temperature i tried to cut

Silicone molds are floppy by their very nature so whenever they are used they need the support of something firm under them
