Pros
Best to upgrade to a spiral bit for that. My favorite tool is my router and this is my go-to bit for guitar routing.
Used it to create a 1 3/4 mortise for tropical oak (quercus) door with a >1 density. I mainly work with oak, couldn't be happier with the performance of these bits.

Dont cheap out on router bits a bearing or a piece chipping off a cheap bit could cause serious bodily injury

Requires 5 5 mm passes but the finished mortise is top quality

Only problem is that the cutting edge wears out pretty fast and i have no idea if it is possible at all to sharpen the bit in any efficient way

By the way dont forget to adjust the rotation direction of your spindle to use this bit
