Freud is an excellent juxtaposition between quality and price. Worked great, cut like butter. Came in nice container. Would buy again.
Cons
Failed after 15 mins. Pulling axially on a new, sharp carbide bit is dangerous enough. The blade is not any sharper, nor does it cut any better, than the cheap amazon bits.
This bit is not a flush trim bit. The cutter diameter is indeed 5/16, but the bearing is 1/2. It appears that they do not have this with a quarter inch shank.
Highlights
Quality
I have been satisfied with the other freud products i have.
