Other benefits are reduced vibration smoother surface finish and presumed longer lasting cutting edge owing to the smaller incremental bites each edge produces which should also translate into cooler carbide edge temperatures which also indirectly enhance pilot bearing life since there should be less thermal migration to the ballracelubricant assembly of the bearing
