I'll admit we've used the lower priced blades with the assumption we can purchase two for the price of a good one.
Works great for what i use it for.
The blade was excellent, the cut finish was also very good (not quite finish blade quality), particularly for a dock.
The cuts are very smooth, freud has a reputation for quality.
Price
I use diablo a lot and the price is good.
Diablo makes great quality blades, and the price reflects it.
Competitiveness
Freud offers some of the best blades on the market at a very competitive price.
Diablo blades are consistently well made and value priced.

I have to admit i’ve only used it with 12” and 38” plywood so far but the performance is outlandish

There is absolutely no tear out that i can find the blade makes 10 of the noise my previos blade did if that admittedly the old one was not even carbide tipped and very old

I was concerned with premature blade binding and dulling as the wood was very saturated with preservative and each 54 x 6 x 8 board actually a bit thicker than 54 was cut twice to fit the dock frame
