The black ones are supposed to be nicer, although i have found all freud/diablo products to be outstanding and i think if i recall correctly floyd also sometimes sells items in light blue packaging to further complicate matters anyway if you google it there is a gentleman who used to work for freud and he goes to the history and the coloring of their packaging and how much difference it really makes.  Read Less
