Pros & Cons

Pros

Rips wood smoothly and cross cuts smoothly. Next order is walnut bedroom furniture set with a desk and some custom bookshelves.

This is my first freud blade and i am a believer. Thank you finally a manufacture gets it. Have had this blade in the past and has proven to be a great purchase.

I use to use much more expensive blades until a youtube buddy recommended this blade. Much cheaper than the orange cmt blade.

Cuts flat bottomed 1/8 kerfs for box joints, dado's, etc. Needed a full kerf blade.

Cons

It came out of the box with a chip in the carbide. The carbide is not a quality micro grain. Not recommended for plywood.

Quality

Cross cut quality is super smooth, flat tooth grind is great for doing dado type cuts (i do not have a dado stack).

I should mention that the quality of rip cut on heavy woods like walnut, maple and oak is outstanding.

I would have either a flex problem or even tear or vibration issues with the expensive blades that i should have none at all.

I am going to present the quality of cuts using a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is terrible and 10 is great.

Price

Great addition to my table saw arsenal, and for the price, i would buy it again.

So make sure your not just buying blades judging only by their cost.

Shipping

Sellar had great price at time of purchase and great shipping speed, highly recommend both sellar and blade.

Packaging/appearance

Was perfect for the width 1/8” of the storm door glass i used.

Competitiveness

I use it on a sawstop jobsite pro.

Just as good as the new jersey saw blade @ 1/2 the price!

Because of the additional thickness of the blade from my usual freud diablo had to adjust my feed rate to compensate (not the m...  Read More
