It cut smoothly and straight thanks to a very sharp well made bit.

After i drilled the whole i realized that i had actually drilled it about 1/8 off center so i scrapped that piece and started anew.

If it's for woodworking instead of utility/construction, stick with freud or fisch (or fomag.

Price

Freud bits are the best there are for the budget.

It was a more expensive bit, but you get what you pay for, and this bit does exactly what i need it to do.

I've always known that freud was top of the line but never justified the cost.

Shipping

Initially they sent a diablo bit, correct size but wrong brand.

) forstner bit arrived a day late.

Competitiveness

I have used almost every brand out there and my shop is now 100% freud.

Only other brands considered were the austrian-made fisch bits and the german-made colt bits.

The freud drills are more expensive than others, but the quality shines through.
