This scale is fabulous. If it lasts half as long as my old scale, i'll be quite pleased. The scale is well constructed.
I runs on two watch batteries, which makes it lightweight. They auto-off is great for battery saving. They even give you extra batteries for future use which is really thoughtful. It uses cr2032s which are about as inexpensive as they get.
It's thin and fits really nicely sideways in a cabinet or on a shelf. It easily wipes clean but the description says it can be washed in the dishwasher. It's sleek enough that it's easy to store out of the way when not in use.

A scale is really important to get the accurate amount of an ingredient. Makes it a breeze to cook from british or european cookbooks that use metric systems.
Cons
This has no life span. Stopped reading accurately after a few months. Took forever to get finished as a result of this. Now i have to go through frigidaire to get this resolved.

This is made well and does a great job.
Hold down the tare button for 2 seconds to turn off.
It will turn off automatically after a few minutes of disuse.
Price
For the price i am very satisfied with this purchase.
The product was fairly priced, it works well and seems to be accurate.
I don't know that i've ever paid more than a quarter for one.
None of the cheap, crummy scales at the supermarket would do.
Packaging/appearance
I'm storing it in the box, like a book, on the shelf where i keep some of my baking supplies.
The box does include two spare batteries, a nice touch.
