I wound replacing the main drum bearing, the front glide felt, and this part which tensions the belt on a plastic wheel/pulley.
I also changed out the belt at the same time since failing idler pulleys are apparently harder on the belt and mine was showing fraying.
Price
The part was fine and was worth the cost-just wasn't what was wrong with the dryer.

Its not an identical match to the original since the spring mounting location is about 1234 further out but since the original idler is pushing 15 years old i doubt its going to be a problem

The screeching sound that was coming from it made it clear that some or all bearings and glides were shot

There is no bearing for this part just a steel pin through the pulley wheel the belt goes around

It was for this reason i decided to replace it along with the other worn parts
