For us this ac unit does a great job of cooling provided it is not in energy saver mode
In any of the other modes of various fan speeds it does a great job of cooling quickly and keeping the room cool
I have found it necessary to set the unit quite a few degrees below the desired room temperature but thats not an issue and probably has more to do with the fact that the unit is close to the ground and cold air sinks
I suspect that if we were to have fans circulating the air in the room whilst the unit is in energy saver mode it might work better but thats not really an option for us
