Pros
The ice maker is the size of a large insta pot. The bottom of the unit is where you pour the ice. The ice is pushed into the holding tray by a paddle. Before this, i couldn't have iced beverages without paying the tax to my shepherd/pit mix.

Highly recommended after 2 months of moderate use. Makes the ice quite nicely. I hope it lasts a good long time.
Cons
Frigidaire is a garbage product with garbage customer service. That's very disappointing. Very unhappy customer.
Going back to ice cube trays in the freezer.
The unit is dripping water all over the counter while filling. It flows against back wall but does not hit the reservoir.

I obtained something to clean the ice maker with from a port i visited during my time on deployment.
Everyone was taking all the ice they would have in the mess decks, and there would be no ice available anywhere on the ship.
Packaging/appearance
The packaging was really good and after the unboxing i wiped it down and filled it.
Competitiveness
However, this model is at least 75% quieter than the other mentioned brand.

Its been a lifesaver when you dont have a freezer that makes ice itself

However during the summer months when it gets hotter inside the house and the ice maker has to work harder it seems like it has a problem with freezing up

The whole system freezes up a little bit and has to be unplugged and dethawed before it works properly again

It does make some noise and once the ice drops you need to put into freezer as machine does not keep it frozen
