Pros
There are faint beeps heard, but never anything disruptive. I find it comforting to hear the ice drop, same is not loud either.
Cons
This machine sprays water all over the floor. The ice is formed by the thin metal rods that are dipped in water, and then scraped off.

I have it on my counter top direct to water use and i use an aquacrest ice filter 5 yrs or 10000gallons sold here on amazon to ensure best quality water and in hopes of minimizing or lessening any sediment and buildup in unit itself purchased ice machine liquid cleaner also sold on amazon and did a preclean when i set up the machine just because of all the bad reviews figured i would start clean and go from there

Have to lend an ear to listen for it … i always know i have fresh ice in the maker and again this sound blends in with the rest of the household noises and when you have 10 dogs there is never a dull moment whether it be barks growls whimpers or just playfulness — they hear the person at the door before they knock better than a door bell

It does not have a refrigerator function so the more you use it the better it works

I installed this in a cabinet under my bar sink and plumbed it in to the water line for a constant supply of bar ice

The only thing i could want from it would be to put it on a timer so it didnt run 24x7

When you power it on you need to press a start button on the panel for it to begin making ice
