So basically unless you manually turn it off or set it to a humidity level thats close to what it is anyway this thing doesnt seem to stop

It was still dehumidifying in my basement but on the defrost cycle the fan never turned off even with the power button pressed

Sometimes the tank fills up with water even though i have a drain hose connected so i have to dump it now and then

I keep the air filter cleaned out thats the only maintenance i have done

The old dehumidifier started malfunctioning and ran pretty much nonstop causing the electric bill to be absolutely outrageous for the month
