My point is not to say the reservoir is undercapacity because that is not true. Buying the hose attachment saves you having to empty the basin. Water bucket somewhat heavy and ackward to empty.
The fan is very powerful. The compressor is very quiet. Other than that, it delivers what it is intended to do. This works, making the area enjoyable.

Cons
All lights on the control panel flash and flicker randomly. It still works, but i cannot turn the fan speed to med or high anymore. This means the compressor system has failed.
It use to bring humidity down in minutes. Now will no longer remove humid from the air. When the ec error happens, it seems like the coil will make ice at the bottom and efficiency is greatly reduced.
Current models only have a 1 year warranty. Called frigidaire and after some discussion was advised that a refund would be issued. Back office team is non-responsive. Finally it turns out he can just magically send me an email with a refund procedure ... Read More

We were having a ton of moisture issues in our finished basement, and during the summer all the corners and walls were filled with mold.

I had a frigidaire unit that lasted 5 years and it couldnt have been better in the time it worked in my humid basement

As some of you state thats not long enough and quite frankly i agree except for the fact it doesnt matter which brand you buy theses days so i average the cost out per year and its been worth it in spades to get rid of the musty smell and 70 to 80 humidity levels

Will it last 5 years who knows if so ill be more than pleased if not life is like a box of chocolates no matter what you buy
