I picked the fridgidaire because at the same price this unit comes with a noise jacket i was hoping for quieter operation and it does but am not sure because its new i should had taken measurement but ooops

Description says direct wire which to an electrician which i am implies that it would be hard wired into the wall or junction box

An excellent value i had it professionally installed and the match up with drain dishwasher and electric did not require any adjustments saving on parts and labor

It is less noisy than the leaky instink orator it replaced
