As others have mentioned with the unit we have weve noticed that unless it is on the temperature setting of 5 or higher it does not necessarily cool the room all that well

While sleeping we have it on the low cool setting as anything higher is very loud

I didnt expect too much at this price i actually prefer the oldfashioned manual controls because they never fail like the digital ones can

Not having a remote is really not a big deal its not like you have to climb a ladder to turn it onoff

If i had to criticize anything the temperature adjustment doesnt really seem to work in regards to absolute high cold to have the compressor kick on and cool
