Now a replacement element has been ordered. Estoy muy contenta con mi compra.
Stovetop works great, came well packaged and installed in minutes. Big burner helps keep an even temperature. All burners heat evenly no matter how many are on.
It is the best one i’ve ever owned. Love the controls -- nice and bright. It is really pretty though.
Cleans easily, even the knobs.
Cons
Frigidaire earns a zero on installation manual clarity; customer care; and usable retention bracketing. The cooktop was wired incorrectly at the factory causing other module failures in the unit.

Boiled potatoes are done in ten minutes compared to 14 minutes on my old stovetop.
Price
Finding this one at this price was a bonus.
All in all, if you’re looking for a glass electric cooktop for under $1k i would suggest this one 9/10.
00 other stores offered on sale for 629.
This model was $250 more if i bought in the store but still had to install it myself.
Shipping
First one i ordered never made it to delivery- damaged in shipping and returned to amazon.
Contacted customer service and i only had 14 days for a cosmetic claim.

Packaging/appearance
One star off for packing that certainly should be sturdier.
Stovetop works great, came well packaged and installed in minutes.
And the box was packed in another box.
The original one we ordered was haphazardly packed.
Competitiveness
The price is great compared to other products plus it is a fantastic stovetop.
This replaced my worn out 15 year old wolfe at a fraction of the price and it works just as well as the wolfe did!
