Pros
The closer you are to the unit, the cooler you'll feel as the fan will be pushing the frigid air on you. The 500sq2 area is made up of two adjoining rooms and is attached to a hallway.
Cons
No response from seller and no guarantee from amazon. Also, wifi control on our working unit is mediocre at best.

It is a single hose partially evaporative unit that does not require emptying regularly unless you want to use it mainly as a dehumidifier in which case youll need a drain or a giant bucket as this thing is a monster to trap humidity

Didnt use the remote at all because it was literally running on the lowest temp 247
