Pros
We rotate 2 freezer size ziplock bags full of ice. When one is empty, we start the ice-maker and refill the empty bag.
It takes up about the same amount of counterspace as our keurig coffee maker. Ice is always ready freeing up freezer space. The first few rounds of ice takes a few minutes longer but once it gets going and the overall temp is lower it pumps out ice.
Cons
The tracking record clearly says it was received by canada post oct 22 and delivered to the recipient oct 25. Didn't last a year, no warranty.
The ice cube tray does exactly the same for pennie's. Spent approx $150 on a garbage unit. Just buy a bag of ice or a fridge with an ice function.
