The knobs are solid metal and not plastic - very nice!
Exactly what i needed to replace my cracked cook top.
Loose brackets floating around not secured that could have cracked or scratched it.
The flat and glass like top is both easy and hard to clean.
Packaging/appearance
But the packaging issues are why i'm not giving it 5 stars.
There were packaging issues with it though.
Competitiveness
And compared to the ancient coil burners i had, it's wonderful to cook on.

But there were loose screws that had come out and were rattling around inside the backing plate

If youve never had ceramic it might not be for everyone

Personally id probably prefer gas but i was already setup for electric and didnt feel like doing all the work to switch to gas
