Pros

Easy to install. The instructions are on the frigidaire website. Remember to press in when removing the old cartridge.

I replace this frigidaire water filter every 6 months and it makes a noticeable difference in water flow and taste. The packaging is always nice and always intact.

Cons

This is a brand-name filter and it is quite expensive. They are the priciest and don’t work. Proprietary filters are a huge waste of time and money. Quit working in less than two months!

This filter appears dirtier than the one that has been in my fridge for 4 years from factory new. After about three months the water slows to a trickle and it takes forever to fill a glass. Water stopped flowing completely, it is dripping only.

Came pretty quick and was more affordable than other retailers.

Delivered quickly, easy to install, good price.

But after overpaying for poorly shipped and expensive filters i came to amazon and saved some extra money for faster delivery.

Packaging/appearance

I deducted one star due to the packaging, which looks cheap and lacks primary protection like plastic wrap around the product.

My box was nearly broken, but the product itself works well.

Competitiveness

A little more expensive than the off brand but i knew for sure it would fit perfectly and easily.
