Highlights
Quality
This assam tea has been my fave for at least 15 years and the loose leaf taste so great without the paper.
This is a good quality, strong, and flavourful tippy assam that makes for a very satisfying pot of tea.
My extraction time is no more than 2 minutes at just under boiling, to allow only the sweetest notes.
The bag is not resealable and it takes a long time to use up 1 lb.
Price
And to get a full pound of organic, fair trade tea for $26 is a pretty good deal.
The value for one pound is fantastic and is ideal for daily tea drinkers like myself.
This is decent black tea but definitely not worth the dramatic price gouge.
It has to be cheaper to get so much in a big bag vs.
Shipping
Arrived quickly, and everything was as advertised.
I needed the tea quick so i ordered here.
Packaging/appearance
What i don’t like is the packaging.
I would have given a 5 star rating if the packaging was slightly better.
Competitiveness
This tea tastes much better than the name brand teas bought at the grocery store.
I can't buy black tea from any other brand because anything else isn't as high quality.
It compares favourably to ahmad’s kalami assam, a staple of mine, and to all the other loose leaf assams i’ve tried from amazon.
So, i was looking for a tea that was the same blend as a major brand of iced tea that starts with p and the last word is leaf.
