Originally purchased for tamales but due to how much time it takes to make them i might skip that project.

I used to buy this all the time at wholefoods, but my nearest wholefoods no longer has it.

I dont use it to make mexican dishes i just use it on anything that i think would benefit from a little kick of heat in lieu of salt

You cant use up much of the spices before they lose their potency if youre not cooking for a lot of people

If a recipe calls for something spicy like cayenne pepper or a creole seasoning mix ill just sub in a little of this
