Any item of this manufacturer is top notch! This * easy to use, and did a great job. Easy to install.
The caulk saver is removable and reusable. Works well for preventing caulking from passing thru large crack. Better then caulk and looks nicer.

Good quality backer rod that i got on sale
Used this to bridge a gap along the concrete basement floor and wall, followed with the caulk.
I ended up using the trim-a-slab product instead, which was super easy and looks great.
Used as a slip grip for my couch cover as they didn’t send enough with the cover.

Great quality and the price is right!

Cut a chunk off wood glue did the trick to keep it in the cracky crack.
I stuffed the the crack between my porch and the house wall.
Don't want any freezing cold air coming in as the heated air rises, so i stuffed some of this 1/2 inch foam rope into the gap.
The package says "for best results, the caulk saver should be slightly larger in diameter than the width of the joint".

The color is light gray although some of the amazon pictures show dark gray

The diameter is accurate at 1234 but its spongy and can easily be squeezed to 1434

Unless the foam slides easily into the gap i would not recommend using a sharp tool to compress it because the foam can puncture or tear

The next day i noticed both foam pieces were shriveled and stiff and easily pulled right out of the joints retaining the shape of the joint instead of bouncing back to the round shape

I cant downgrade the product for that because it is intended to be covered with caulksealant
