Pros
It is pretty flexible (like stiffer silicon rubber) and very easy to work with even in a crawl space. It's such a simple and easy remedy i don't know why you don't already have one.
Pipe heater installed on exposed, 16-long exterior pipe and faucet. After two winters with temps falling to a low of 7 degrees fahrenheit, this pipe heater still protects it from freezing. Hoping to see not freezes this winter.
Cons
Returned for refund. Absolute junk. Everyone else is 30 day return only if found defective.
After checking it with my kilowatt meter it shows no power being used.

Last year my pipes froze because i was using a very old heat tape.
Price

Kind of expensive if it only gets through one winter.

I just needed a short one like six or 7 feet strong over my gutter where my steps is so when the snow came and melted it didn’t melt directly on my steps
