Pros

Good product. Adhered very well to a water heater pipe. Plenty to spare for sealing some drafty doors.

Used this to insulate pipes in my well pump house. Good for insulating ac lines for wine room cooler. Worked great for wrapping ac line to keep it from dripping from condensation.

Good size roll of tape. Pliable yet strong and easy to cut with scissors.

I’ve been using this frost king insulation for copper refrigeration tubing with great success.

You can handle it well and it wraps really well and stays together and is real flexible.

This time i used it becasue i noticed the out side ac lines were exposed in some places and there was condensation.

    I dont use this by itself but over forms its added protection around foam insulation

    I rewrapped two whole line into the house with about half a roll and again thats for two ac units

    Rvalue is very poor compared to shaped foam tube but this is easy to apply to different sized pipes

    I’ve also put this around exposed water pipes think an upside down “u” out of the ground where i had a burst pipe in 2021 and addition of this foam tape got us through without problems in 2022

    Although this is isn’t rated for heavy duty insulation it is enough to keep pipes from bursting in a climate that only stays below freezing for a few days at a time
