Highlights
Quality
I did not find any problem with the screws, and they went into a solid oak door.
If you need to shorten the strip to fit your door first slide the rubber so it is flush with the end to be cut off with a hacksaw.
Price
The price was right and i received in a day and a half.
Competitiveness
This shouldn't be a problem even for a novice dyi'er.

I dont know why this gets poor reviews unless they tried to use it with an old threshold that has a weather strip down its middle

This is made to use with a solid aluminum threshold with no weatherstrip

You have to change the threshold for this to work properly
