Pros

Here are some of the things i’ve learned while owning it. The design is very thoughtful. Other than that it is just perfect! Eliminating the notches.

You will need to either bolt it down or get some weights for it. Especially with a base price of almost $120 for starters. The nicest option is to get a 4 pc, sand or water fillable, weighted plate set.

Cons

Don't fall for this scam. Cost me under $7 per bag, opposed to buying their base than having to buy sand to fill it separately anyway. As is, the umbrella is not worth the money because you have to spend a lot moe for base weight.

It's not repairable. Now the entire thing collapses.

The umbrella tossed wildly with the slightest breeze making shade impossible & the lack of this sturdiness is the probable cause of the thin string tearing. Blew itself apart in one gust of wind.

If you go with the 10 foot umbrella, and you live somewhere with virtually no wind at all, maybe you can get away with a 110 lb $40 base.
