The mat itself is a thicker plastic so i was concerned that the chair would catch on the edge all the time but it absolutely doesnt and it can roll smoothly right over it

The only challenge with it was initially unrolling it but once i put my chair on it it started straightening out

However be prepared to allow the matt to lay flat with weights on each corner as it arrives tightly rolled obviously only sensible way to ship
